My blog turns 1 =)

It's April Fool's Day today

which also means it's the 1st Anniversary of my blog! =)

Yes, i've been blogging for a whole YEAR already!

So, how is today any different from April 1st last year?

Well I got a mild case of food poisoning. Nothing serious, but serious enough that I have to stay at home. Yes, on April Fool's Day.

And you know what? People thought I was joking. So i got no sympathy, hahaha... that sucked =)

Still, i managed to April Fool people anyway!

The highlight?  I pranked my parents on Skype, telling them (and sounding VERY repentant btw) that I'd said a very bad word. The F-word to be exact.

Which may be nothing to some of you, but not me. I don't swear -- there are better words to use. if you're smart enough =)

Anyway they fell for it. And i could tell they were freaked out that Australia was turning me into a potty-mouthed person. It was really funny -- the line went quiet for a long time, then finally my dad tried to act all understanding and cool about it. Their faces when they found out were priceless =D

So anyway, here's to another fruitful year ahead, hopefully in which I manage to overcome my laziness and blog regularly =)
