2009 ---> 2010

meaning we have 2 more years before a huge asteroid crashes into earth and everybody gets fried! =)

At the beginning of each year, we all make resolutions. It's natural.

It's also completely natural to completely disregard all the said resolutions after a few days.

Or in my case, a few hours =D

Soooooooo.....

THIS YEAR

I have decided that I shall go against the flow

stand out in the crowd

actually KEEPING my resolutions! =D

AND I shall post them here so you people can hold me accountable (wait. that's scary though! oh no!)

Resolution #1

I shall procrastinate less (this will probably be the hardest to keep)

Resolution #2

I will learn to cook and bake very well... or at least better than at the moment haha

Resolution #3

I will do all my assignments ON TIME in uni (which sorta ties in with Resolution #1) and I will do VERY VERY VERY well in my exams

Resolution #4

I will share Christ with as many people as I can

Btw let me start here: Jesus died for YOU on the cross, to forgive YOUR sins. Let's face it, we're all sinners. You, me and the milkman who lives down the road. Still, Jesus loves you, and if you believe in him YOU will have everlasting life, in heaven, with HIM.

Resolution #5

I will be less messy. I will TRY to be less messy. I will... Haiyo. Um. I will not leave mountains of junk on my floor & bed, and I will have a clothes cupboard that is as obsessively neat as Charlene's.

Okay scratch the charlene part, because that is IMPOSSIBLE =(

Resolution #5

I will save more money.

Does it count if I work and earn money and spend that so that technically I will be saving the money my dad gives me?

Okay yes it does. I think.

Resolution #6

I will not lose my temper too often. I will learn to harness it and channel it into more... productive areas. Like kick-boxing! Enough said.

Resolution #7

I will keep in touch with my close close friends. And even the not-so-close-but-still-quite-close ones. I will forcibly force (?) them to come on Skype even if they are having so much fun in uni and do not want to Skype with me.

Resolution #8

I will read the bible more. i WILL finish at least HALF of the whole bible by the end of 2010.

Resolution #9

I will find a way to make my brothers' voices NOT break so that I can still squish them when I come back for Christmas and I will not be freaked out by their new manly voices.

Hmm.

Okay scratch that. I will be a better sister, and daughter.

Resolution #10

I will be a living testament for God, in everything I do or say. And I will grow in my walk with Him; and really, that's the ULTIMATE resolution to have.

Anyway, it's Christmas in approximately... 25 minutes time

and i have a whole pile of unwrapped christmas presents

hey, at least i got the presents okay

Well, i gotta go wrap them, or my brothers will kill me tomorrow

I swear, their sad, puppy-dog-eyed faces will guilt trip you so much you'll literally DIE

I also have to make cheesecake squares for our Christmas Dinner tomorrow

my cousin from australia is here with her parents and my grandma (who is also HER grandma, but nevermind)

so we will be (read: have to) waking up early to bring them out for a nice, Malaysian-ish breakfast

so since we'll be up so early, i'll have plenty of time to update my blog. i hope =)

OH that reminds me we ate nasi lemak for dinner just now!

Also, I got nominated for the Law Scholarship i applied for at the University of Adelaide, which is a really exciting thing, and will really REALLY help if i accept it
