The world is going CRAZY

These past few days we've been watching Bend It Like Beckham for our ESL classes, which has been a GREAT change from writing all those essays on 19th century people and rebellious children. It's a great movie, coz even though it seems fluffy and lighthearted, there are so many lessons that can be learnt from it! AND johnathan rhys-meyers is HOT =)





Hah. This is for Shu Sim who said he's good looking but too thin =)

Oh and does ANYONE know the significance of the aeroplane that they keep showing in the movie? Or did Ms Ng make that question up to torture us? Haha...

Anyway i'm really excited, coz tomorrow (well, today actually i guess) my dad's coming up for the Taylors Placement Day (or wtv it's called) to help me decide WHERE i'm gonna go next year, and confirm WHAT i'm gonna do. And we're going out for an early breakfast! I'm gonna MAKE him bring me to Mc D, i've been having cravings for a Sausage McMuffin =)


Anyway, the only really interesting thing that happened today was that i caught 2 insects mating on my hand. I know, EW right. Michelle and I were eating dinner at Hakka Lee, and i looked at my hand and there they were, stacked up on one another. You'd think they'd get a room or something right, not do it ON MY HAND. It's just plain WRONG. I've never felt more violated in my life.

Me: Ew, Michelle!
Michelle: What? *busy inhaling her prawn noodles*
Me: There were 2 insects on my hand! MATING!
Michelle: Good what. You should feel honored.
Me: EW. What, coz they're conceiving their future offspring on me?!
Michelle: Ya *nodding vigorously* they're passing on their genetic material!

This is a message to all the insects out there. My hand is NOT a nesting ground, or mating ground. It is OFF LIMITS for any form of hanky-panky, is that clear?

Sheesh. What is the world coming to. Even insects are losing their moral values.
