Heal the world, make it a better place!

Right now i'm in the library with Michelle. Obviously, i'm being a good student and doing my work (blogging doesnt count), and Michelle's reading from a huge BIO book, with a seahorse's skeleton on the front.

Michelle: Suetyoong, do you know that the pandas in the world are getting extinct from starvation?!
Me: Mmm... where? *very distracted*
Michelle: Look here! *points at the page*
Me: *looking* Guess what's the first word i saw?
Michelle: I don know... bamboo?
Me: No, sexual reproduction
Michelle: Eeeyerr!

*10 seconds later*

Michelle: It's so sad! 136 pandas died last year from starvation!
Me: Hmm...
Michelle: You must be sad! I can just imagine all the skinny pandas, crawling around with nothing to eat... so skinny and hungry... so sad!





*2 minutes later*

Michelle: Eh this is so interesting! You know whales are divers right? Before they dive, they exhale all their air so they'll be less buoyant, and there'll be less chance of the gas being forced into the blood.
Me: Okay
Michelle: So next time before you dive, make sure you EXHALE everything!
Me: But then you won't have any air down there.
Michelle: No, but... but... yeah =(
Me: *laughing*
Michelle: No, I have to learn how to dive from the whales!




*10 seconds later*

Michelle: Did you know penguins are warm blooded?




*1 minute later*

Michelle: Look! A kangaroo-rat. So cute!


*5 seconds later*

Michelle: Look, it says a sneeze is so powerful. Your sneeze droplets can travel at over 150 km/hour!
Me: Oooh, so if you like hate someone, you can aim carefully at them and then -
Michelle: And then you go "Achewwwww"!
Me: Okaaaay =)




Michelle: Ooooh, look this is my complete, complete favourite!
Me: What?
Michelle: Polar bears! They're so cute! See, they're like popping out from the ice!
Me: Mmmm....
Michelle: Aaaaah, it looks just like a mimiaow... i want to snuggle it!

Michelle: You know how cute a baby polar bear is?! It's like a ball... a ball of white fur! So cute!




Michelle: Read this! About this oil spill!
Me: Hmm... yeah it's terrible
Michelle: Yeah i can't believe these humans! So evil!
Me: Michelle, you're a human.
Michelle: I know! Sometimes i can't believe i'm human!





Michelle: Look at this! A trapped and caged polar bear!
Me: Mmmm...
Michelle: Read this! If you don't cry then you have no feelings.
Me: *reading* that's terrible




So yeah... i found her conversations really amusing, but at the same time, it's true. The environment parts lah. Our world's in bad shape, mostly due to us humans. So, just a reminder to go green etc etc okay? =)
